Sauna Etiquette
To ensure a safe and pleasant sauna experience for everyone, the following rules apply:
- The sauna may only be used by those who have booked a time. It is not permitted to let in anyone who has not booked. Violations will result in a fee and a police report.
- Swimming is at your own risk and must always be done together with others — never swim alone.
- Only fresh water may be used on the sauna heater. At freshwater locations (e.g. Stora Essingen), lake water is fine. At saltwater locations, use the fresh water provided in containers, rain barrels, or via a hose. Never use sea water or any other liquids.
- Out of consideration for one another, we wear swimwear in the sauna.
- Food and alcohol are not permitted in the sauna.
- Sauna whisks (vihta/vasta) may not be used in the sauna.
- The sauna session is 1.5 hours, including changing, so the next group can start their booking on time.
- Please leave the sauna as clean and pleasant as you found it by sweeping the floor and benches after use.
Thank you for showing consideration and helping create a calm and enjoyable environment 🌿🔥
